Definitions are the anchor on which your entire Contract balances itself. Correct referencing is the key to making the best use of this anchor. And interpretations are like your private rule book, that need to be drafted first but finalized just before your last draft.
Contract drafting is like scriptwriting. If you are one of the authors drafting the contract or are only reviewing it, you must know how you want to plot the story well, how it should pan out for your client. This article encapsulates some of my finer learnings that have emerged over time.

Though India may well be a case in discussion here, the truth is that even the Western world has truly struggled to get it right. A fundamental question that has emerged out of this crisis is — how should healthcare institutions should strike the right balance between the service and business of healthcare? And how we should provide the best healthcare to the vast population at affordable rates, and yet help our healthcare institutions make a profit?
